The Point of Art gallery & studio is located in the historic district of Union Point, Georgia. Our 1895 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Union Point is about halfway between Atlanta and Augusta - take Exit 138 off the I-20 and head 4.7 miles N. Our hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.. All other days by appointment, just call (706) 486-6808 and we'll open for you (I am usually in the studio, so it's no problem!) Our gallery grows and changes all the time. We are anchored primarily with the bold, colorful art of the owner, Anne Jenkins, and feature selected artists from Georgia and the South. This year we will hold monthly exhibits showcasing various artists alongside Anne. The current exhibit is the spring show - beautiful, breezy art from Georgia artists. There is also an exhibit of The Point of Art Gallery's artists at StrandZ - the hair salon par excellance.... don't miss it! The salon is opposite the Lake Welcome Center. We teach The Entrepreneurial Artist workshops regularly ... and read what one of Lee's students wrote to the newspapers after attending the first "The Entrepreneurial Artist" workshop - check it out under "Consulting."  "Anne, a British citizen, calls the world home. Born and raised in Africa, she lived there for 24 years. She then lived in 6 European countries for 25 years and traveled the world extensively before settling in the U.S. New Orleans was Anne’s beloved adopted city for a few glorious years until Hurricane Katrina. Anne now runs The Point of Art gallery & studio. Here she can be found painting in her large new studio doing anything from soft watercolor house portraits, funky folk art on 1895 tin roof tiles or big canvas' full of vibrant color and movement."

Anne Jenkins Art Honored by Georgia |
 Anne Jenkins art has been chosen by the state of Georgia. Anne's painting of a single sunflower is the official logo of "The Heritage Art Loop", one of "Georgia's Art by the Mile" self-guided tours. You can see the sunflower in the gallery section of this website under featured artist. You can download a pdf copy of the brochure from the website: http://www.heritageartloop.com
